Ecuadorian apple and walnut cake

Difficulty: Beginner Prep time 15 mins Cook time 60 mins Rest time 30 mins Total time 1 hr 45 mins
Servings: 8



  1. Mix all dry ingredients with a fork: flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Beat the rest of the ingredients: Eggs, adding the sugar a little at a time, the vanilla and the oil.
  3. With a spatula mix the two together, and fold in the grated apples and walnuts.
  4. Pour the mix into a floured cake pan and bake at 170°C for one hour.
