Please note that serving size is for cupcakes, so 30 cupcakes equal an 8-inch 2-layer cake.
Peanut butter frosting
Cream the peanut butter with the butter
Add the salt and vanilla. Beat until incorporated. Add the powdered sugar gradually, beating thoroughly. Add the cream gradually until you get the desired texture. Beat well, around 2.5 minutes.
- Add more cream and/or powdered sugar until you get the desired texture.
- Since the base of this frosting is butter, if not used right away please store in a cool place (quite the challenge on the coast!). If not consumed in 2 or 3 days, refrigerate (up to a week) or freeze it (up to 3 months). Before using, wait until it comes to room temperature and beat again.
