Soft Homemade Bread

  1. Prep

    In a bowl, put water, sugar, yeast and mix.

  2. Mix

    Add the flour and over the flour put the salt and mix everything. Let it rest for 20-30 minutes.


  1. Prep dough

    In the bowl where the sponge is, add the oil and then start adding the remaining flour gradually, cup by cup. We will use 850g in the dough. Mix and knead until the dough is uniform and smooth. Let the dough rest until doubled in size (about 40 minutes).

  2. Knead

    Knock the air out of the dough by taking it out the bowl and folding it a few times. Then on a lightly floured countertop knead the dough for 10 minutes until the dough is very smooth and elastic. Always sprinkle the countertop so that dough does not stick. Then cover the dough and let it sit for another 10 minutes.

  3. Grease 3 bread pans. Divide the dough into 3 parts to form your loaves. Roll each dough with a rolling pin and then rolling tightly and place in the pan. Let it grow to double in volume (about 40 minutes). Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

  4. Bake

    Bake in the oven at 180ºC. (35-45 minutes)
